Getting started in Skyblock can sometimes be considered a daunting task, and that's why we've laid out a comprehensive guide with many tips & tricks to help you thrive!

Keep in mind, this guide is primarily focused on economic success! KingsMC Skyblock is much, much more than that, with build contests each month, seasonal focuses, custom item models and textures, live events, RPG style mobs & bosses, custom recipes, plants, farming, and more!

1. Getting Started

In the early days of your journey, you'll want to begin to make some income through three main professions:

‎ 

⬥ Mining

⬥ Fishing

⬥ Farming

‎ 

Through the /mine Warp, you can explore custom mines and creatures that grant you loot. 

Right-clicking fishing rods will allow you to discover new fish types, with higher market values.

Shift-Right clicking your hoe tool will unlock various new plant and bush types.

‎ 

In coordination, these three systems can earn you glory.

‎ ‎ 

‎ 1a.  Mining

To make the most out of mining, there are three main ways to do so:

‎ 

⬥ Early-game mining

⬥ Mid-game mining

⬥ End-game mining

‎ 

Early-game mining consists primarily of the Mines warp -> (/warps) 

Various mines can be unlocked as you progress through the rank system -> (/ranks)

‎ 

Mid-game mining is most profitable when you're about mid-way through the ranks, as you will unlock

higher-tiered custom mines, as well as the resources required to begin upgrading your personal ore generator.

Ore generation is a convenient way to mine lucrative ores & blocks at your own island, saving you travel time and expenses.

‎ 

End-game mining specifically calls for the lower two mines within the custom mine tiers. 

Additionally, a maxed-out ore generator on your island can reap many benefits when synced up with minions.

‎ 

‎ 1b.  Fishing

‎ 

Fishing is a relatively straightforward process, accessible to all players regardless of their stature.

By shift-right-clicking on your fishing rod, you will be welcomed to an intensive system full of new life and markets.

The menu consists of powerful augments that can be applied to your fishing rod, granting new skills and abilities. There are also six tiers of fish rarity,

 each selling for a different price and having a narrower chance to catch as you move up in tier.

To open your fishing menu externally, you can use (/fish menu).

1b.  Farming

‎ 

The changes that were implemented for farming take it to entirely new levels, and the progression is endless.

‎ 

Farming knowledge sticks with you across seasons, making it a vital interaction for long-term growth and progression.

By shift-right-clicking your harvesting tool, you can open an intricate menu that houses the plant codex, as well as a shop

for purchasing all things related to custom farming.

‎ 

Some plants call for special environments, requiring you to travel to new dimensions or develop your island into an entirely new biome.

With their passive growth, plants make for an amazing long term economic strategy, as long as you keep up with them.

‎ 

To open your farming menu externally, you can use (/farm menu).

2.  Getting Into It

‎ 

Now that you've begun to earn a decent income and have a solid understanding of how the economy works, you may look to take your

entrepreneurial efforts elsewhere. 

This can be obtained through two main sources:

‎ 

⬥ Mob Spawners

⬥ Minions

‎ 

Ironically, these two things together make for a very steady, reliable source of income and loot.

‎ 

2a. Mob Spawners

‎ 

The mob spawner shop is locked in tiers behind the in-game ranks system. To achieve higher-yielding spawners, you must increase your rank by utilizing the methods previously spoken of.

‎ 

Tier 1:

⬥ Sheep Spawner

⬥ Chicken Spawner

⬥ Squid Spawner

⬥ Salmon Spawner

⬥ Zombie Spawner

‎ 

Tier 2:

⬥ Cow Spawner

Tier 3:

⬥ Creeper Spawner

2b. Minions

At the time of this publishing, there are currently 7 total minions that a player can obtain at any given time:

⬥Miner

⬥Collector

⬥Feeder

⬥Fisher

⬥Farmer

⬥Lumberjack

⬥Slayer

⬥Seller

With these minions, you can automate select tasks on your island for a high initial cost. Minions can be upgraded by right-clicking them and navigating their menu to select any designated upgrade. Minions are not active while you are offline, so in order to advance any minion progress, the player must be online. Minion slots can be obtained either through the in-game rank system or via upgrading your island Kingdom and purchasing permanent minion slots.

3. Moovin' and Groovin'

Now that you've got the hang of life on KingsMC Skyblock, you can start to make judgement calls, play by the seasonal meta, and figure out your own natural playstyle! The last phase of high-tiered income is through the mob & boss system. By utilizing Kai-Len's occasional offers around spawn, you can craft wildly overpowered kits, and begin to hunt down the most gruesome of bosses that you can find! Bosses reap powerful rewards, including cash and loot, granted to only the best of the best...
