How Claiming Works
Claiming protects your builds from griefing and unwanted access. Here's how the claim system works on KingsMC.
Making a Claim
Right click the first corner of your claim with our claim tool (a golden shovel or stick). Navigate to the corner diagonal from your initial selection, and right click again to set a claim. If you're not sure what to do, ask in Discord or in-game and a staff member will walk you through it.
Claim Blocks
You earn claim blocks automatically over time just by playing, and can earn more by voting or purchasing a rank through our webstore. Use /claimlist to see how many blocks you have and how they're currently being used.
Trusting Friends
Want to build with friends inside your claim? Run /trust <player> to let them build and interact freely without giving them ownership of the claim itself.
Good to Know
Unclaimed builds are not protected from other players. Claim early and claim often - if you're ever unsure whether an area is protected, ask before you build. Staff can help resolve claim disputes or sizing issues in Discord.
