How to Play on KingsMC
New to the server, or new to survival Minecraft in general? Here's everything you need to get comfortable and start building.
Join the Server
Open Minecraft: Java Edition (1.21.11+) or Bedrock Edition, go to Multiplayer, and add play.thekingsmc.com as a server. Bedrock players can join through the same address using a port-forwarding client if required by your platform.
Get Your Bearings
You'll spawn in the main hub. Use /spawn any time to return here, and /rtp to head out to a fresh area of the map to start your base. Read the rules with /rules before you start building or trading with others.
Protect Your Base
Once you've found a spot, use /claim to protect it from griefing. Claiming early is the single best thing a new player can do. See our Land Claims guide for a full walkthrough.
Get Involved
Join our Discord to meet other players, keep up with announcements, and get quick help from staff. Use /shop and /ah to start trading, and check /kit to see if you have a starter kit waiting for you.
